Work with SLNC members for a unique chance to connect with the Springfield Lakes and surrounds community. We’re always on the lookout for helpful individuals interested in doing some volunteer work. Our volunteers are extremely important to the success of our community projects, providing the people power for litter clean-ups, tree plantings and watering, weeding our bushcare site, cane toad catching, and Richmond Birdwing butterfly vine rearing. Volunteers are also essential to participate in citizen science programs like FrogID, Feral Scan, Backyard Bird Count, Waterbug, and Platypus surveys.
We also need more members to help out with organising community events, such as Clean-up Australia day, bushwalks, spotlight tours and to help with fundraising.
